Wrap up of 2015!
Another very successful year is nearing its end and we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support!
B.I.K.E.R.S. Training, now in its fourth year, trained over 600 people to date in the ‘First Bike on Scene – Emergency Response Skills’.
This year alone we provided 16 courses across Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK. On nearly all courses we have had people recertifying their previous FBoS qualification.
It is a very encouraging to us, as our main aim after all this time still is ‘to empower YOU as the First Biker (Motorist) on Scene to assist a fellow rider’. Again, we were contacted by several FBoS – ERS qualified bikers who attended injured bikers, telling us of their experiences and the support they gave to the individuals. Hats off to you!
However, this year has also seen a number of high profile fatalities as well as other members of the motorcycling community. Unfortunately this remains a worrying trend, and particularly at this time of the year we are thinking of the families left behind.
With this in mind we continue our best to spread the word and train as many people that are interested in learning these potentially lifesaving skills.
We also want to thank ‘Bike Buyers Guide’ for offering us the opportunity to add little articles to their monthly magazine on an ongoing basis. On another note we are delighted to say that newly launched ‘Principal Insurance Ireland’ has agreed to offer a 30euro discount for policy holders who have successfully passed the FBoS course.
Great adventures were had at various events including the annual ‘Kings Hall Motorcycle Festival’ in Belfast, the ‘Bikefest’ in Killarney or more recently during a course at Ireland’s first Motorcycle Manufacturer ‘Volt Motorcycles’ in Enniscorthy.
All that’s left now is to wish you a happy, healthy and safe Christmas and 2016!
With best wishes from all of us at B.I.K.E.R.S. Training,
Rodge, Nick, Rick and Berni
