We’re happy to say, we’re restarting FBoS courses following the closure due to COVID-19. As many other businesses and institutions, we have had to make changes to the way courses will be run and the administration of them. We therefore ask you to bear with us until we’re settled into this new routine.
One of the new things will be a ‘Health Declaration’, which we ask you to fill in prior to the course. The other, more obvious, point will be the wearing of a face covering for anyone attending. As many of you will know, this course covers a number of practical skills scenarios and participants will be in close proximity to each other during those. We will, however, do our best to keep the time to the shortest possible, while not compromising the learning outcome. To try and maintain as much social distancing during a course, we will for the foreseeable future cap group bookings at 12 per course. These are the upcoming dates for now – we are trying to catch up on the locations, for which bookings were received earlier on this year but had to be postponed. If there are any clubs / organisations, who are looking for a group booking, please let us know as we still have a few dates available. Please note that if the Government has to reintroduce restrictions, we may be required to postpone courses again. Equally if there is an infection with COVID-19 and we are asked to submit information to the HSE for ‘Track & Trace’, we will cooperate with the request.
