We would like to announce that with immediate effect the FBoS course and all its contents have been transferred from the North West Ambulance Service to First Bike on Scene (FBoS) UK Ltd.
But we are also proud to let you know that we remain sole licensees for Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The new FBoS UK Ltd is based in North Wales, being run by Mr Ian Thomas, Mr Tim Roberts, both Paramedics and Paramedic Tutors, as well as Mr Paul Cheshire, Bike Safe Team, North Wales Police Service.
The content of the course remains largely the same and this is due to the fact, the course was originally developed by paramedics working in the North West Ambulance Service. However some minor changes have been made to remain up to date with current medical protocols. The Quality Casualty Care Alliance approved the content of the course and now issues the certificates instead of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at North West Ambulance Service for all their support and co-operation in the past. It has been a pleasure to work with you. We now look forward to our new venture with FBoS UK Ltd!
