Well, we hit the ground running for 2025 and the last few months just breezed past us, suddenly finding ourselves in May already!
We had invitations to the Fireblade Ministries, the Cookstown Motorcycle Show, the Waterford Harley-Davidson Open Day and the VJMC Show in Swords along with drop ins to various other meet ups. Thank you so much to all the organisers for asking us to come along. We appreciate you thinking of us and helping to spread the word for FBoS.
Amongst the eight courses completed to date, we had participants from the Moyross Youth Academy and surroundings, Shamrock Rose MCC, Christian Motorcycle Association, tutors from RoSPA – IART, Freewheelers MC and The Gurriers MCC. But many more individuals came in, to sit and learn the practical skills of what to do, just in case, if and when.
Attendees included a gent well into his 80’s but also various parents and their young adult children. It’s been a pleasure to have you all present and credit to the parents for instilling road safety from the early stages.
While Rodge will be off marshalling at the TT in due course, the next courses planned are for Wexford, Navan, Clonmel, Cork and Galway – so please see our schedule.
