We have another busy few weeks behind us, but this weekend proofed to be extra special for us as we celebrated over 1000 trained FBoS bikers to date! Wohoo! Actually to be precise, it’s 1047 now!
A big, wholehearted THANK YOU to all of you who have attended the courses and helped spread the word, keeping this programme going and helping us to push it forward! There are countless individuals, clubs, community groups, media and many other organisations who have supported this venture along the way and if it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t be still teaching FBoS!
We had a fabulous day in Ballymena today, enjoying the achievement with some cake right in the middle of training another 16 bikers! It couldn’t have turned out any better. Thanks to Stephen Mills of Moto Training NI for spreading the word on our behalf and ’rounding everyone up’. Incidentally he attended the first ever FBoS course we ran in Northern Ireland all these years ago!
And continuing on with celebrations – we have a new safety partner as of this week! Peter Riley of Airvest, the UK providers of the ‘Helite Turtle Motorcycle Air Vest’, has very kindly sponsored one to us for evalutaion! We couldn’t be more excited and it will go on tour with us to all the courses, allowing interested attendees to give it a try!
