As Nick heads off to enjoy retirement and cruising his beloved BMW F650gs, an era comes to an end at Bikers Training.
From the beginning, Nick has been an integral part in setting up Bikers Training and getting the FBoS course off the ground in Ireland. Travelling with Rodge to events all over this island and the UK, introducing the course concept to many of you and helping to spread biker safety awareness.
He’s been at the forefront of teaching the First Bike on Scene course and over the years added valuable content to it, as well as developing the Advanced course.
Often people have had queries about the ‘what if’s’ or needed reassurance and a debrief after an incident, Nick’s always been happy to take that extra time. Many great connections with individuals and groups have stemmed from this.
On a personal note, Nick and Rodge’s friendship goes back all the way to their early nursing careers and it has always been great craic!
